Catherine Reilly

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Catherine holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and an M.Sc. in economics from Aalto University in Finland. She is also a CFA Charter holder.

Catherine Reilly is an investment and retirement expert, with a focus on retirement income, global retirement systems, and emerging financial technologies. She has worked in both the US and Europe, leading cross-functional teams to design investment and advice solutions for retirement. She has also conducted extensive research into retirement saving and spending, participant behavior and policy initiatives to improve retirement readiness.

Catherine was most recently a principal of CM Reilly Associates, LLC, a strategy advisory firm, and was head of retirement solutions at Smart, a leading provider of global retirement technology. She has previously served as global head of research for the defined contribution team at State Street Global Advisors; chief economist for Pohjola Asset Management in Finland; and a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. She has served on the Executive Committee of DCIIA and the board of the Pension Research Council at Wharton.
