Andrew J. Scott is professor of economics at London Business School, where his research focuses on longevity and an ageing society. He previously held positions at Oxford University, London School of Economics, and Harvard University and was managing editor of the Royal Economic Society’s Economic Journal and non-executive director for the UK’s Financial Services Authority. Scott serves on the advisory board of the UK’s Office for Budget Responsibility, the Cabinet Office Honours Committee (Science and Technology), and the World Economic Forum - Global Future Council on Healthy Ageing and Longevity. He also is co-founder of The Longevity Forum and received an ESRC grant for research on the economic longevity dividend. He holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and an M.A. and D.Phil from Oxford University.
