Employees hired on or after May 2, 2010 are in the new plan. Emory Healthcare will contribute 2% to the plan even if they are not actively contributing to the 403(b) plan. Registry and ESA employees as well as all employees hired before May 2, 2010 will remain in the current plan and are now eligible for the Emory Healthcare 2% contribution.
 
Employer Base: 2% Employer Match 1% - 4% on Employee Contribution of 1% -4% for employees with less than 10 years of service. Employer Match 1% - 5% on Employee Contributions of 1% - 5% for employees with 10 years of service or more.
 
All Full-time and part-time employees who are at least 21 years of age are eligible for matching contributions to the Savings Plan after completion of 1 year of service, and 1,000 hours worked in a 12-consecutive-month period. All Full-time and part-time employees who are at least 21 years of age are eligible for matching contributions to the Savings Plan after completion of 1 year of service, and 1,000 hours worked in a 12-consecutive-month period.
Eligible employees may start contributing to the plan immediately. Emory Healthcare's contributions commence after 1 year of eligible service for eligible employees 21 years of age and older.
