Black Enterprise Features TIAA in “Best Companies for Diversity”

For the ninth year, TIAA is featured as one of the “Best Companies for Diversity” by Black Enterprise magazine.
Each year Black Enterprise reviews the practices of more than 1,000 of the nation's leading companies with a focus on how they embrace and demonstrate the inclusion and participation of African Americans (and other ethnic minority groups) across a wide spectrum of corporate activities.  In evaluating which companies to honor, the organization looks at best-practices and diverse representation within the employee base, senior management tracks, corporate boards and supplier pools. They also examine diversity efforts on behalf of other groups, such as women, LGBT, the disabled, and veterans, and award points to companies who do well in these areas, as is the case at TIAA.
