USC makes a 5% non-elective contribution to all participants who have met the eligibility requirements into the 401(a) Matching Plan.
You may contribute, on a tax-deferred or Roth basis, an amount equal to 1% to 5% of your eligible compensation to the 403(b) TDA Employee Matched plan. USC will match this amount dollar for dollar up to an additional 5% USC matching contribution.
Faculty and staff (excluding those who are eligible for the USC Hospital 401(k) Plan) may be eligible to participate in the plan.
You also must have worked at least 500 hours in a six-month period.* Be age 21 or older.
*Employees with a 50% or greater appointment for six months are deemed to satisfy the eligibility period.
