  • You are able to connect or add your bank account to your brokerage account for the majority of account types. For many account types, this can be done online. By adding your bank account, you will have the ability to transfer money electronically to and from your brokerage account. How to add your bank account to your brokerage account.
  • No, clients with a brokerage account are not assessed an annual maintenance fee although other fees may apply to your account.
  • "Provide" indicates that TIAA Brokerage does not currently have cost basis on file for your investment. The information can be updated by completing the Cost Basis Entry for Uncovered Securities form or by calling 800-927-3059, weekdays 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. ET.
  • Within your brokerage account online, contribution information is displayed within the chart on the Summary tab.
  • Brokerage account beneficiary and transfer on death instructions are not currently available for online update. Designation forms are available online or by contacting TIAA Brokerage at 800-927-3059, weekdays 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. ET.
