"How do I make all my hard work pay for a comfortable retirement?"
I’m a 63-year-old nurse. I love my job but I want to retire in three or four years. Then, I’ll have more time to spend with my family and friends and, hopefully, take those trips to Europe and South America I’ve always dreamed of.
Still, thinking about retiring makes me a little nervous. I want to maximize my retirement years, and I could use a little help with planning. I’ve been diligent and put money aside in my retirement plan during the years I worked. But I took 10 years off to raise my kids and went part-time for a while, so I haven’t been able to save as much money as I would have liked.
I’ve always managed my family’s finances but I don’t feel as confident about investing. I’m looking for someone to help me feel empowered to make the right financial decisions for my future. How do other women do it?
