Michael Ainge is a Managing Director and head of leveraged finance research for the TIAA organization. Mr. Ainge is responsible for managing the organization’s global public fixed income leveraged finance credit research analysts. In addition, he is responsible for covering the chemical, energy and utility sectors.
Previously, Mr. Ainge served as Co-Head of Structured Product Research. Prior to joining the leveraged finance team in 2000, he covered lease-backed private placement securities and investment grade public corporate bonds in the consumer and industrial services, and aerospace and defense sectors. Mr. Ainge joined TIAA in 1998.
Mr. Ainge has 23 years of industry experience including positions with JP Morgan Investment Management and Segal Advisors as a performance analyst.
Mr. Ainge holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan Business School. Mr. Ainge has been a CFA charter holder since 1996. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
