What is a typical day like for you?

I come into work 1 ½ hours before my first market opens, read market news, speak to our brokers and go through the trades I have active that day. Next I decide the optimal trading strategy to help ensure the best execution for my clients.

Which of TIAA's corporate values resonates most with you and why?

“Operate as One Team:” Working Asia hours, we are somewhat separated from the rest of the company. Despite that, I know I can rely on all my colleagues for help any time of the day. That’s crucial for my job because markets are fast moving.

What does "giving back" mean to you—personally and professionally?

For me, it’s very simple: To provide others with help, happiness and advice in any way I can, because during my lifetime, I've been on the receiving end many times. Even if it’s a thank you note just to let someone know he or she is appreciated.
