TIAA was named one of Fatherly’s 2021 “Best Places to Work for Dads” and Scary Mommy’s 2021 “Best Places to Work for Moms,” certifications that recognize employee benefits, policies and corporate culture based on a 148-point criterion and spotlight organizations that set the standards for how parents should be treated and supported.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TIAA drastically improved its already strong parental benefits package, more than tripling its backup childcare reimbursement from $60 per day for 20 days to $200 per day for 60 days, and opting to extend this benefit into 2021. The company also provided associates with virtual tutors and other academic support for students, as well as childcare and online healthcare options for families.
