Company recognized for its programs and policies to advance women
TIAA was named to The National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women for 2017. The list is featured in the February/March issue of Working Mother.
NAFE, founded in 1972, serves 20,000 members nationwide with networking, tools and solutions to strengthen and grow their careers and businesses. Working Mother magazine publishes the annual NAFE Top Companies list. Companies were chosen based on their programs and policies that promote the advancement of women as well as the training and accountability of managers in relation to the number of women who advance.
“We are incredible proud to be counted among NAFE’s Top Companies for Executive Women for the sixth time. We believe that our success is dependent on the diverse skills, experiences and backgrounds that our employees bring to the company every day,” said Doug Chittenden, Head of Institutional Retirement and Co-executive Sponsor of Advance, our women’s employee resource group. “We remain committed to building an inclusive workplace that offers respect, support and opportunity for all employees – regardless of gender or background.”
“I’m proud of all TIAA does to develop women personally and professionally ultimately resulting in greater fulfillment for the individual and increased success of our firm.”
