TIAA’s customer websites stay #1 in latest DALBAR rankings

TIAA continues to receive financial industry kudos for its digital customer websites. This recognition is a result of TIAA’s multiyear technology commitment. Our goal is to make it as easy and simple as possible for our customers to interact with us online.

For the first quarter of 2016, DALBAR, Inc. has reaffirmed its #1 ranking for TIAA’s participant, plan sponsor, life insurance and annuities websites. The evaluation is based on five key criteria: functionality, usability, content currency, consistency and behavior centricity.

Each year, DALBAR, a third-party market research firm, performs a variety of evaluations & ratings of best-in-class financial services websites.

DALBAR ranks them for both functionality and experience design, looking for consistent, appealing, and user-centric services. DALBAR ranks approximately 30 companies. The pool of companies considered may be larger than 30. This reporting change was made the beginning of 2Q 2015. The participant site ranked number 1 out of 30 (1Q16); the plan sponsor site, PlanFocus®, ranked number 1 out of 29(1Q16); the life insurance  consumer public site for life insurance/annuity ranked number 1 out of 29 (1Q16); and the public site for mutual fund consumer website ranked number 3 out of 32 (1Q16).
