The season of giving is in full swing at TIAA. From November 29 through December 3, associates used the company's matching gifts program to donate enough for two million meals to No Kid Hungry.
"Too many students go to school every day on an empty stomach," said Laura Turner, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. "Hunger impacts a child in every way, from their physical and mental health to their grades and achievements. Our associates show up to support the educational needs of our communities every day and this donation is one way we deliver on our call to action to be the change."
No Kid Hungry, a national campaign committed to ending childhood hunger in the U.S., provides resources, grants, and advocacy. TIAA's matching gifts program operates to give back year-round. All U.S. associates who make a qualifying donation may request a company match.
